VRRP Password Mismatch
One of main Issue will be Password mismatch between the Nodes. To resolve this issue we can use
” # show vrrp stats all “ output of this command will show us if there is an issue or not. if you run this command time to time you can notice that Authentication failure count is increasing.
VRRP ID Mismatch
To troubleshoot these type of issues it can be enable some of the debugging commands
“Logging system process vrrp level debugging” this will give an logs like below
